A record number of building companies are collapsing in Australia. In the first nine months of financial year 2023, the number of failing construction companies has reached a seven-year high. New data from the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) revealed that 1,601 construction insolvencies were recorded from July 2022 to March 2023.
